This is for your kid if
- They're 4 to 13. Shy or wild, both are fine; the groups are split by age, not by personality.
- You want them to be hard to bully and easy to coach.
- You can get them here 2 times a week. Once a week is a hobby; twice is a skill.
- You want to watch. The lobby has a window and no appointment is needed.
This is not for your kid if
- You want them to learn to hit back. Bully Shield teaches control and de-escalation; nobody throws a punch here.
- You need after-school care. Classes are 50 minutes, a coach runs them, and a parent picks up on time.
- They're under 4. Text us in a year.

The parents' bench: 5 adults, phones down for once, actually watching. 1 dad clearly wanting to join. What parents ask first
The Bully Shield, explained.
Jiu jitsu is the only martial art where a smaller kid can control a bigger one without hurting them. Our Bully Shield curriculum teaches the 3 things that actually happen on a playground: keep your distance and use your voice, stay on your feet if you get grabbed, and get back up safely if you go down. No strikes. No "fight back harder."
Every class ends with a 2-minute talk: respect, listening, telling an adult. Belt stripes and promotions happen twice a year at the anniversary party in July and the holiday party in December, in front of the whole academy.

| The First 30 | $100 | |
$504 is what these cost bought separately. The First 30 is $100 because the goal is the 30 days, not the sale. It's 2 classes a week on purpose: that's the pace a beginner can keep, and keeping it is what the first 30 days are for.
Make all 8 classes and it pays for itself.
The First 30 is 2 classes a week, 8 in 30 days. Make all 8 and if you continue, the $100 you paid is credited to your first month of membership: $120 instead of $220. 2 a week is the pace a beginner can actually keep for a month, so the target isn't a hoop, it's the point.
There is no refund, and there is nothing to refund. If day 30 comes and this isn't for you, you keep the rashguard, you keep the guide, you keep the calendar, and you don't come back. No exit call, no fee, no "let's talk about why." We'd rather you leave with a rashguard than stay on a contract. The only way to get the $100 back is to make all 8 classes, and at that point most people don't want it back.
