Absolutely not! If that were the case, we would have no students. Everyone you see on the mats started with zero experience and with the help of other students, were able to stay consistent and become an experienced grappler.

We offer loaner uniforms for your first class, which consists of a rashguard and a pair of training shorts. For ladies, if you’d prefer not to be in shorts, you may wear any leggings of your choosing and a rashguard will be provided.

100% — We completely understand how nerve racking the first class can be, and we do our best to describe to you exactly what the experience is going to be like so that there is minimal surprises. With that in mind, it’s start difficult to paint the picture perfectly, so we encourage new students that are nervous to start to come take a look at a class, meet the coaches, and meet the students. It’s a great way to get an introduction!
